Stop cheating, Huawei Honor 2

AnTuTu keep encouraging manufacturers to make optimizations to Android, thus users can enjoy
better experience. However, we take a stand against to those who just make optimizations to
benchmarks and cheat users with benchmark scores.

Except the version we released on Google Play, we also have the labs version of AnTuTu 
Benchmark. Let’s see the differences of Huawei Honor 2 tested on these 2 versions of AnTuTu 
Benchmark.

This is Google Play version and its scores are:


These are the scores of labs version:


We can see clearly that there is about 17% gap between the 2D and 3D scores in these 2 tests.
Meanwhile, we found an .apk file in \system\app. Here is what we got:


We hate this behaviour. You may find the other applications on your device can only run with slow
response speed except benchmark applications.

Huawei announces Honor 2 with a quad-core CPU and 2GB RAM

Huawei has announced the Android-based Honor 2, which comes with some major hardware improvements over its predecessor.

The Honor 2 has a 4.5-inch, 1280 x 720 resolution display with a pixel density of 326ppi. Inside, there is Huawei's K3V2 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The Honor 2 also has 8GB internal memory with a microSD card slot. On the back is an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording.
The Huawei Honor 2 will be releasing in China later this week for 1,888 yuan ($302).
