The Indonesian Postel regulatory site continues to unveil the marketing names for upcoming Sony Xperia handsets. It has a 100 percent success rate so far so we have no reason to doubt that the upcoming 4-inch handset with model number ST26i will be called the Sony Xperia J on release.
The Xperia J is believed to be another low-range offering with a 4-inch (480 x 854) display, 1GHz single-core processor (MSM7627A chipset) and will launch with Android 4.0.4. Little else is known at this stage, although recent photos suggest that this could be one of the first Xperia phones to launchwithout the Sony Ericsson liquid energy logo.
