HP Elitebook Revolve convertible tablet coming in March

Tuesday 4 December 2012

HP is adding a new tablet to its business lineup in March. The HP EliteBook Revolve is a convertible tablet that looks like a notebook with an 11.6 inch screen -- because that’s kind of what it is. But you can twist the screen and fold it over the keyboard to use the 3 pound computer in tablet mode.

The HP EliteBook Revolve features a touchscreen display with Corning’s scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. It’s powered by an Intel Ivy Bridge processor and features a solid state disk with support for up to 256GB of storage.
HP’s convertible tablet features a backlit keyboard and an optional digital pen. It has USB 3.0, DisplayPort, and NFC and HP will offer a mobile broadband option. The Revolve supports both Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Pricing detailed will be released closer to the launch date in March.
HP is also introducing a new Multi-Tablet Charging Module for enterprise customers that need to charge and store up to 10 tablets using a single power outlet. The charging module will be available in January for $499.
