Five-inch smartphones are gradually becoming the new mainstream. Back in June, Lenovo launched a 5-inch Android handset called S880. Today, its successor LePhone S890 gets an official debut in China. No doubt, Lenovo S890 has a big improvement on its hardware, but the best part is its price remains the same as its predecessor at 1,999 yuan ($322). Specs and other details after the break.

It comes with three different colors — blue, white and black. Available for pre-order now at360buy.
By comparing it with Big Cola’s 5-inch phone that we reported previously, Lenovo S890 appears to be overpriced. Big Cola offers about the same configuration, but selling for just 999 yuan (around $160). But the down side is, Big Cola (new local brand) does not have as many sales channels as an international brand like Lenovo.
