Sony Ericsson Xperia lineup is getting their promised 50GB of storage on Box.net now and the promotion is now active running until the end of next year.

The only thing you need to do if you have an Xperia smartphone is downloading the free Box application on the Android Market and log in with your account to the service or register.

Luckily, Box.net is not limited to particular kinds of files so you can easily drop anything in your cloud storage - music, documents, even movies with so much space. The company mentions that 50 gigs are enough for approximately 50,000 docs, photos, and presentations.

The offer is also reportedly available in all regions, and it’ll also be available on next year’s Xperias so it’s definitely something to check out. Go to the Market to get the app and let us know if it’s all worked out fine in the comments below.
