Tuesday, 20 December 2011

A new entry level Android smartphone is expected to be launched by Sony Ericsson. The phone, codenamed Tapioca (ST21i/ST21a), is believed to be targeted to emerging markets. It will come with a 800MHz processor and sport a 3.2-inch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution.
Other features include 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM and a 3.2MP camera. The phone is expected to be available in four colours. The Sony Ericsson ST21a recently appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark confirming the 800MHz processor speed. Sony Ericsson has always said that it will make entry-level smartphones as it looks to phase out its feature phone business. This looks like it will be one of those phones.
