The Nokia Lumia 820 is a cheaper alternative to the new Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone. Like its bigger sibling, the 820 will have a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor and Windows Phone 8 software.
But it will be a little smaller, with a 4.3 inch display, and it has a 5MP camera instead of an 8.7MP camera.
There is one thing that makes the Nokia Lumia 820 stand out — the rear cover can be removed and replaced with a different shell.
Not only does that let you change the color of your handset, but it also lets you change the functionality. For instance, you can add a shell that lets you use a wireless charging pad to charge the phone’s battery.
That’s a feature that comes built into every Nokia Lumia 920 phone, but it’s just an optional feature for the 820.
