The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is an Android tablet with a 10.1 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display and a 1.4 GHz quad-core Huawei K3v2 ARM Cortex-A9 processor.
Huawei introduced the tablet in February, and now it’s almost ready to ship. Huawei says the tablet will ship globally starting in September. It’s already available in China.
The 10 inch tablet features Android 4.0 software, a 1.3Mp front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear camera.
It has an aluminum-alloy case and measures 0.35 inches thick and weighs less than 1.3 pounds.
Huawai’s new tablet supports WiFi, 3G, and 4G wireless, and it has a 6600mAh battery for up to 10 hours of run time.
There’s also an optional keyboard docking station that lets you use the tablet like a laptop. The dock also adds Ethernet and USB ports.
The company plans to ship the tablet in Germany, Sweden, Belarus, Bahrain, and Kuwait in September. Other countries will get the tablet after that, but there’s still no word on the US launch date or price.
